Blow Hairdressing Traineeship

1-year Traineeship Program at Blow Academy in partnership with Blow and ITEC. This program perfectly fits individuals looking to combine practical experience with academic learning. Our traineeship is a dynamic blend of an apprenticeship and a traditional course, designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary for a successful career in Hair Industry.

1 Year Program

What is included?

3 Days of Paid Work per week at Blow salon
2 Days of classes per at Blow Academy, UCD Belfield, Dublin
Extensive training leading to ITEC Level 2 & 3 Diploma in Hairdressing

What will you learn?

Consult and advise clients
Shampoo, condition, and treat hair and scalp
Cut women's hair
Style and finish hair
Set and dress hair
Colour and lighten hair
Perform salon reception duties
Provide client consultation services
Creatively cut hair using various techniques
Creatively colour and lighten hair
Creatively style and dress hair

What qualifications will I receive?

ITEC Diploma Level 2 & 3 in Hairdressing
Blow Academy Certificate

How long is the course?

Breakdown: 40 weeks in salon and classes, followed by 12 weeks for portfolio and exam preparation. Please note that the 12-week period is unpaid.
You will earn an apprenticeship salary for three days each week during a 40-week work placement at Blow Salon.

How much does it cost?

The total of €7,800 includes the in class training and ITEC qualifications. Payment plans can be arranged. An interview is required to verify that you meet the entry criteria. €1,950 deposit is required to secure your place.
