This 4-day TY course introduces students to the world of hair, makeup, and nails. It is designed to give hands-on experience in key beauty skills while encouraging creativity, teamwork, and confidence building.

  •  Day 1: Hairdressing Basics 

    - Introduction to salon health & safety.
    - Blow-drying techniques.
    - Basic plaits and braiding.
    - Ponytails, buns, and simple upstyles. - Practice session with mannequin heads and peer work. 

    Day 2: Makeup Skills 

    - Skin prep and hygiene.
    - Day makeup look (foundation, blush, mascara, lips).
    - Evening makeup look (smokey eyes, contouring, highlighter).
    - Demonstrations by educator.
    - Students practice on each other. 

    Day 3: Nail Care & Polish 

    - Hand & nail hygiene.
    - Basic manicure routine (file, shape, cuticle care).
    - Nail polish application (base, colour, topcoat).
    - Students practice on each other. 

    Day 4: Creative Showcase & Team Project 

    - Recap of all skills learned .
    - Students work in pairs/groups to create a full look (hair, makeup & nails).
    - Blow Academy Certificates of participation awarded.
    - Career Guidance & feedback session.

  • To secure your place at Blow Academy, a deposit is required. Please note that deposits are non-refundable. The full course fee must be paid no later than two weeks before the course start date. Once paid, course fees are non-refundable. However, if you are unable to attend, a credit note will be issued, allowing you to reschedule your booking for a future date.  

    If Blow Academy cancels your course, you will be offered the choice of a full refund or the option to reschedule for another available date.  

    Minimum Enrollment Requirement
    The course requires a minimum number of enrolled students to proceed.  

    Course Postponement
    If the minimum enrollment requirement is not met, the course may be postponed to a later date. Students will be notified of any schedule changes as soon as possible.  

    Reservation of Rights
    Blow Academy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the course due to unforeseen circumstances or factors beyond our control. In such cases, every effort will be made to accommodate students' schedules and preferences.  

    Communication 
    All communications regarding course enrollment, schedule changes, and refunds will be conducted via email or other designated communication channels. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that their contact information is accurate and up to date.
