    By the end of the course, participants will:

    Day 1: Hair Care & Styling Basics

    Session 1: Introduction to Cosmetology

    • What is cosmetology?

    • Overview of the hair and beauty industry

    • Roles and responsibilities in salons and spas

     Session 2: Hair Structure & Care

    • Anatomy of hair and scalp

    • Hair types and conditions

    • Product types and uses (shampoos, conditioners, treatments)

    • Hair washing and scalp massage techniques

     Session 3: Basic Styling Techniques

    • Blow-drying basics

    • Brushing, sectioning, and parting

    • Introduction to tools (combs, brushes, straighteners, curlers)

    • Safety and handling practices

     Practical Activity & Review

    • Hands-on: basic blow-dry and style

    • Group Q&A and feedback

    Day 2: Beauty, Skin & Professional Practice

    Session 4: Skin Care Fundamentals

    • Skin types and conditions

    • Cleansing, exfoliating, toning, moisturizing

    • Introduction to facial techniques

    • Product safety and patch testing

     Session 5: Introduction to Makeup

    • Basic makeup tools and products

    • Natural look application

    • Colour matching and face shapes

    • Hygiene and best practices

    Session 6: Client Care & Salon Etiquette

    • Professional communication

    • Consultations and client forms

    • Personal presentation and hygiene

     Wrap-Up & Certificates

    • Review key learnings

    • Discuss next steps: qualifications,  advanced courses etc.

  • To secure your place at Blow Academy, a deposit is required. Please note that deposits are non-refundable. The full course fee must be paid no later than two weeks before the course start date. Once paid, course fees are non-refundable. However, if you are unable to attend, a credit note will be issued, allowing you to reschedule your booking for a future date.  

    If Blow Academy cancels your course, you will be offered the choice of a full refund or the option to reschedule for another available date.  

    Minimum Enrollment Requirement
    The course requires a minimum number of enrolled students to proceed.  

    Course Postponement
    If the minimum enrollment requirement is not met, the course may be postponed to a later date. Students will be notified of any schedule changes as soon as possible.
