VTCT (ITEC) Level 3

The main aim of the VTCT Skills (ITEC) Level 3 Award in Bridal Hairstyling is to enable the candidate the ability to create bridal looks and gain the necessary practical skills and knowledge required by the hairdressing industry. The qualification is suitable for learners aged 16 and over and is designed to provide occupational competence at level 3.

*The deposit of €475 secures your booking. The remaining balance of €475 is due. The total course fee must be settled two weeks before the start date.

  • This qualification is for learners who want to work within the hairdressing industry. The main skills the learner will perform are:

    • Design and dress bridal hair – develop and combine dressing skills to create a variety of bridal designs 

    The learner will also develop knowledge of related health and safety, client care, communication skills and providing aftercare advice which are essential to working and being successful in the hairdressing industry. 

    This qualification also provides: 

    • Opportunities for staff in the hairdressing industry to gain CPD at Level 3, the related knowledge and understanding required to perform the skills outlined above.

    • Opportunities for learners to develop a range of skills, techniques, personal qualities and attitudes essential for successful performance in employment in the hairdressing industry.

    The minimum Guide Learning Hours (GLH) 37 hours

    The minimum Total Qualification Time (TQT) 40 hours

  • There are opportunities for hairdressers to find employment in a variety of areas:

    • Stylist 

    • Freelance hairdressing business

  • It is recommended that learners must hold a Level 2 Diploma in Hairdressing.

  • To be awarded this qualification, learners must successfully achieve the following assessments:

    • External theory examination

    • Portfolio of evidence containing

    • Performance evidence

  • To secure your place at Blow Academy, a deposit is required. Please note that deposits are non-refundable. The full course fee must be paid no later than two weeks before the course start date. Once paid, course fees are non-refundable. However, if you are unable to attend, a credit note will be issued, allowing you to reschedule your booking for a future date.  

    If Blow Academy cancels your course, you will be offered the choice of a full refund or the option to reschedule for another available date.  

    Minimum Enrollment Requirement
    The course requires a minimum number of enrolled students to proceed.  

    Course Postponement
    If the minimum enrollment requirement is not met, the course may be postponed to a later date. Students will be notified of any schedule changes as soon as possible.  

    Reservation of Rights
    Blow Academy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the course due to unforeseen circumstances or factors beyond our control. In such cases, every effort will be made to accommodate students' schedules and preferences.  

    Communication 
    All communications regarding course enrollment, schedule changes, and refunds will be conducted via email or other designated communication channels. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that their contact information is accurate and up to date.
